Resources for Entrepreneurs

The center works in partnership with the Ohio SBDC at Lakeland Community College.

Our goal is to mobilize and coordinate Lakeland's many resources in order to build capacity for entrepreneurship programs and services in our area.

The center works in partnership with the Lake/Geauga Small Business Development Center at Lakeland Community College. Together, the programs provide quality learning opportunities for small businesses in the community and our students.

Lakeland's Entrepreneurship Center supports existing businesses and encourages the creation of new businesses. Below is a summary of the resources available through Lakeland's Entrepreneurship Center.

Ohio Small Business Development Center

The Ohio Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Program provides various types of management assistance to existing and start-up businesses. This is mainly accomplished through one-on-one counseling sessions. These services are offered at no cost to the client.
